GRACE HARMON
Architectural Designer
Born in Peru, Grace Harmon immigrated to New Mexico in the early 2000's. While she was still living in Peru, Grace enjoyed seeing and studying Incan ruins that were located around her hometown. Over time, she got accustomed to seeing the ruins' plans and developed a passion for technical drawings.
After she arrived in America, Grace registered for English and CAD drafting classes at the same time. After getting her drafting degree, she worked for an architect that helped her develop a profound appreciation for the profession which led her to pursue a degree in architecture. She loves using her knowledge and design to help people achieve their objective, so inspired from the experience she had from studying the Incan ruins, she currently incorporates her knowledge in architecture to protect the environment. Each project from the initial meeting to the final completed work creates many challenges; however, she enjoys them because they help her to broaden her comprehension in the field of architecture while using her ingenuity to solve problems.
Grace obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of New Mexico. She also obtained an Associates degree in Architecture Drafting and Design which allowed her to work on the architecture field while she was in school. Grace has over 10 years of experience as an intern architect and over 6 years as a Drafter.
